MMoS Membership Benefits

NEW MMoS Membership Benefits being added:

- 50% discount on all 1-2-1 training sessions with Damian McGillicuddy

- FREE 15 minute Skype or FaceTime call with a member of the team per mentoring session where diary space allows (additional slots available diary permitting at £50 plus VAT per half hour)

- Accreditation scheme (which in turn brings specific benefits to each level)

- Extended education scheme, a cash flow friendly system to add additional training resources either in the form of 0% finance or a “Lay away” scheme. Full details on request.

- NEW Photography workshops tailored to specific needs within the business of photography and “special interests”, ie. Sales, Printing, Qualification, Retouching etc. MMoS groups will be mixed for these “special interest” groups.

CPD Levels & Benefit Structure

MMoS Photographic Training Qualification Badge

Junior Associate

New MMoS members whom may not yet hold a photographic qualification or distinctions and may not yet be running their own photography business.

They are interested in the technical and creative photography process and may possibly want to start their own part-time business.

Benefits of membership:

10% off all MMoS “extra” workshops or 25% discount off “ONE” MMoS workshop per subscription term.

There is no pressure to progress to the next level at any point. Members may remain a Junior Associate and enjoy the benefits of MMoS CPD unconditionally.

MMoS Photographic Training Qualification Badge

Qualified Level 1 Associate

You must have worked towards and achieved 3 out of the 5 following criteria:

(Criteria 1 and 2 are compulsory unless the internal examination is opted for, details and fee’s on request. The third can be chosen between 3, 4 or 5.)

1. Achieve a Licentiate distinction with a recognised industry professional body (SWPP, Guild, MPA, BIPP, NPS, RPS, etc)

2. Attend MMoS CPD for a minimum of two subscription terms.

3. Achieve 4 bars, Highly commended or Industry award (to be agreed with your tutor ie 20x16 merit PPA ribbon etc) You could substitute this point for MMoS internal exam. We are fortunate to have 3 experienced and current Internationally qualified judges within MMoS.

4. Started their own full time or part time photography business

5. Enjoy average client sales in excess of £250 during their MMoS subscription year (and provide evidence)

Benefits of this level of membership:

15% off all MMoS “extra” workshops or 30% discount off 1 MMoS workshop per subscription term.

10% off any Vizual Alchemy product (does not include panels)

MMoS Qualification Badges_-03

Qualified Level 2 Associate

You must have worked towards and achieved 3 out of the 5 following criteria:

  1. Achieve a Associate distinction with a recognised industry professional body (SWPP, Guild, MPA, BIPP, NPS, RPS, etc)
  2. Attended MMoS CPD for a minimum of 3 subscription terms.
  3. Achieve 10 bars, Highly commended or Industry award (to be agreed with your tutor ie 20x16 merit PPA ribbon etc) You could substitute this point for MMoS internal exam. We are fortunate to have 3 experienced and current Internationally qualified judges within MMoS.
  4. Continue to run their own full time or part time photography business
  5. Enjoy average client sales in excess of £500 during their MMoS subscription year (and provide evidence)

Benefits of this level of membership:

15% off all MMoS “extra” workshops or 1 35% discount off 1 MMoS workshop per subscription term.

15% off any Vizual Alchemy product (does not include panels)

Fully Qualified Associate

You must have worked towards and achieved 3 out of the 5 following criteria:

  1. Achieve a Fellowship or equivalent distinction with a recognised industry professional body (SWPP, Guild, MPA, BIPP, NPS, RPS, etc)
  2. Attend MMoS CPD for a minimum of 5 subscription terms
  3. Achieve 15 bars, Highly commended etc or 3 other Industry award (to be agreed with your tutor ie 20x16 merit PPA ribbon etc) You could substitute this point for MMoS internal exam. We are fortunate to have 3 experienced and current Internationally qualified judges within MMoS.
  4. Continue to run their own part-time or full-time photography business.
  5. Enjoy average client sales in excess of £750 during their MMoS subscription year (and provide evidence)

MMoS Qualification Badges_-05

Master Associate

You must have worked towards and achieved 4 out of the 6 following criteria:

(Criteria 1 and 2 are compulsory unless the internal examination is opted for, details and fee’s on request.)

The third can be chosen between 3, 4, 5 or 6:

  1. Achieve a Fellowship or Master distinction with a recognised industry professional body (SWPP, Guild, MPA, BIPP, NPS, RPS, etc)
  2. Attend MMoS CPD for a minimum of 5 subscription terms
  3. Achieve 15 bars, Highly commended etc or 3 other Industry award (to be agreed with your tutor ie 20x16 merit PPA ribbon etc) You could substitute this point for MMoS internal exam.We are fortunate to have 3 experienced and current Internationally qualified judges within MMoS.
  4. Achieved qualified industry judge through application and examination with any professional body
  5. Continue to run their own part time or full time photography business
  6. Enjoy average client sales in excess of £1500 during their MMoS subscription year (and provide evidence)

Benefits of this level of membership:

15% off any Vizual Alchemy product (does not include panels)

Specific Master Associate events.
